Notes
--> The first innings of the match was limited to 45 overs; the total overs for both teams was limited to 90 overs
--> Bowling in the Broughton Second XI innings adds 4 runs under

For Stamford Graham Purdue (53 not out), Dave Laister (33) were top scorers. Perdue played extremely well holding the innings together after Broughton had reduced Stamford to 45 for 4. Top bowling honours went to S Clark with 4 for 23 off 11 overs. In reply Broughton also got off to a poor start reaching 38 for 4 off 15 overs, but good partnerships between B Fish(26) S Clark(39) and J Parker (48 not out) kept the game well within reach. In a game which swung to both sides throughout the afternoon Stamford managed to continue to eke out wickets leaving Broughton 166 all out
