Notes
--> J Simmons made his debut in Lancashire League matches
--> RS Bayley made his last appearance in Lancashire League matches
--> T Lancaster reached 300 wickets in Lancashire League matches when taking his 4th wicket in the Accrington innings

There was a controversial finish when, with Enfield clinging on for a draw, the umpire at the bowlers end called over and pulled up the stumps at his end;
the other umpire stated that there was still time for another over and stood his ground but by then both Enfield batsmen were well on their way to the pavilion and when they showed no sign of returning both umpires declared time was up and the match drawn.
The matter was referred to the Executive who eventually decided to let the result stand.
