Captain Paul Collingwood admitted that his side was motivated after being booed on their own home ground. England faced a huge amount of booing as the side made their way from the nursery practice ground ahead of the Super Eights match at Lord's.

"It was good because I didn't have to make any sort of motivational speech before we went out," revealed Collingwood after the three-run win. "They pretty much did it for us.
"It hurt a few people and it was also a bit strange because we were on our home ground - the home of cricket.
"But the performance showed how much we wanted it. It was a magnificent effort tonight.
"Ideally we would have had 10 or 15 more runs but the way we went about it and the plans that we had worked perfectly.
"We took wickets at the right times and a couple of times we did something special - like the James Foster stumping."LATEST SCORES
