GE Lowans and GW Douglas added 92 for the third wicket in the Nelson first innings
JR Carson and GM Wallace added 200 in 203 minutes for the fifth wicket in the Auckland B second innings
Rain delayed the start of play by 30 minutes on the third day but after only 13 balls had been bowled the rain returned with more than an hour being lost with play resuming at 11.45am
The rain returned at 3.15pm forcing players from the field once more with no further play possible
