On the first day play was interrupted four times when the intermittent drizzle became too heavy and stumps were drawn at 5.30pm due to fading light
On the second morning torrential rain just after 10am flooded the University Oval pitch meaning the match had to be transferred to a pitch on the adjoining Logan Park and play started just before 1pm
