The South Australia Women wicketkeeper, Rhonda Potts, was hit on the head by a swing of the bat from BM Duncan when she was facing off-break bowler, Margaret Daly. Potts had to leave the field to have her head stitched and Aileen Daley took over as wicketkeeper for the rest of the innings
