Notes
--> Parsees second innings batting adds 3 runs over
Our thanks to Arthur Haygarth for collecting the information and to Roger Heavens for providing this scorecard which was first published in Arthur Haygarth's Cricket Scores and Biographies Volume 16. Copies of the book can be obtained from http://booksoncricket.net . Additions or corrections to this scorecard would be gratefully received.
Source states "A long and well written account of this match appeared in The Sportsman of April 3; but the extras were all jumbled up together, which should never be done. P.C. Major in his second innings got his 7 runs in one hit, a drive, a rare feat. Baria hit a seven. Several of the best Parsees could not play as it was not a general holiday.
Banajee is also spelt Banaji in the MS but the former is probably correct. Harrington is presumably a substitute fielder in the Parsees second innings."
