Notes
--> The first innings of the match was limited to 100 overs; the total overs for both teams first innings was limited to 200 overs
--> Western Australia Country first innings batting adds 3 runs over
Twelfth men: GK Read (South Australia Country), TW Dowling (Western Australia Country)
Match notes:
By far the top scorer for Western Australia was Sundries, assisted by a spate of no balls bowled by Attard. Play on the second day did not commence until 12.33 p.m. and less than three hours of play was possible when rain ended the game. The time at which the game concluded is not recorded on the scorer's sheet copy held. There is an unclear note on the scorer's sheet indicating the SG Shaw kept wickets for a part of the South Australia Country innings. The Western Australian batting adds to 205 and a check of the scoring shots of the batsman indicates AR Jones 29; PL Jones 29; and GD Barr 18. This still leaves the Western Australian batting adding two runs over.
