Scott Styris, one the best New Zealand all-rounders, has ruled out the possibility of coming out of Test retirement. Styris said he is not interested in playing the longer-version of the game anymore. Styris retired from Test cricket a year ago in a bid to prolong his career in the shorter version of the game. However, the talented all-rounder was left out of the New Zealand One-day squad against India in the on-going five-match ODI series.

"I'm not interested in playing Test cricket," Styris said. "I've closed that door and now I'm just looking forward to playing for Auckland and the great bunch of guys we have here," added Styris. Styris, who was out of the national side since breaking his thumb against the West Indies at the start of the summer, said his injury has healed completely and is in good shape. "My hand is great and everything is good," he said. "I'm really looking forward to playing for Auckland in the State Championship," he added.LATEST SCORES
