Ray Price is a left arm spinner with good flight who won high praise for his seven wickets in his second test against Bangladesh at Harare in April 2001. He enjoyed a superb year in 2003-04 taking 33 wickets in five tests at an average of 22.42 against teams like Australia, West Indies and Bangladesh with 3 five wicket hauls. He was then behind Heath Streak and the rebel cricketers and found himself ostracized. He then went to England to resume his career signing for Worcestershire in 2004 August. After three years of success in county cricket he declined another contract with them and joined Zimbabwe cricket team when they offered a new contract for the series against West Indies
