As Sachin broke the world record and also ended up being the first man to get to 12000 runs tributes started to pour in for the master blaster.From politicians to business people and the common man everybody lauded his effort.Former cricketers were generous in their praise for him.
Former captains Kapil Dev and Gavaskar lauded his efforts saying he was a phenomenon who has worked hard to reach where he has had to.
Chairman of selectors Srikanth who was his first test captain speaking on this said he was a great role model for youngsters.
