Enfield have signed Zimbabwe all rounder Gary Brent as replacement professional for Brandon Hiini. The 32 year-old, who played the last of his 70 One Day Internationals for Zimbabwe against Pakistan in February, is due to arrive on June 24th, the day after Hiini leaves to join the New Zealand squad for the Emerging Players Tournament in Queensland.
 
Brent has scored 2066 First-class runs with a highest score of 130 since his debut back in 1994. His right arm medium pace has accounted for 186 wickets with a best of 6-46. He played in four Test matches for his country before being one of 15 players to be dismissed after a dispute with Zimbabwe Cricket in 2004.
