National Selection Committee has announced a 16 player squad for Pakistan ‘A’ to play 1st One Day Match against Australia ‘A’ in the series starting September 5, 2007 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

 

The squad is as follows:

5. Naved Latif
6. Sohail Tanvir
7. Sarfraz Ahmed (WK)
8. Tahir Khan
9. Mohammad Khalil
10. Abdur Rauf
11. Mohammad Irshad
12. Shahid Yousuf
13. Junaid Zia
14. Najaf Shah
15. Mansoor Amjad
16. Riffatullah Mohmand

 

Mohammad Sami is not in the squad as he is currently unwell. He has a minor groin problem and is suffering from viral infection. PCB’s Doctor Riaz has advised him rest for ten days.
