Pakistan leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed bamboozled Hampshire to lead Sussex to a 94-run victory in the County Championship at the Rose Bowl on Friday.

The 35-year-old spinner took seven quick wickets on the afternoon of the third day as the hosts struggled in their attempt to chase 306 to win.
Hampshire were 144 for three when Mushtaq bowled Michael Carberry, before the veteran trapped Nic Pothas, Sean Ervine, Dimitri Mascarenhas and Dominic Thornely all lbw.
Shaun Udal was then bowled by Mushtaq before the innings was wrapped up with Chris Tremlett judged leg-before to the same bowler.
Robin Martin-Jenkins earlier struck 91 as Sussex posted 262 in their second innings.(Article: Copyright © 2006 AFP)
