The National Selection Committee, in consultation with the Captain and Coach of the Pakistan Team, has recommended the following players for the remaining two One Day International matches against India:

 

1. Inzamam-ul-Haq (Captain)
2. Younis Khan (Vice-Captain)
3. Mohammad Yousuf
4. Abdul Razzaq
5. Mohammad Sami
6. Shoaib Malik
7. Kamran Akmal
8. Arshad Khan
9. Salman Butt
10. Naved–ul-Hasan
11. Imran Farhat
12. Faisal Iqbal
13. Iftikhar Anjum
14. Mohammad Asif
15. Yasir Arafat

 

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has accepted the Selection Committee's recommendation.

 

Mohammad Sami has been included in the squad in place of Shoaib Akhtar who could not be considered for selection due to injury.
