The National Selection Committee, in consultation with the Team Management, has recommended the following players for the first Test match against India starting from 13 January 2006 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore:

4. Abdul Razzaq
5. Shoaib Akhtar
6. Shahid Afridi
7. Mohammad Sami
8. Shoaib Malik
9. Salman Butt
10. Naved–ul-Hasan
11. Kamran Akmal
12. Arshad Khan
13. Danish Kaneria
14. Imran Farhat
15. Mohammad Asif

 

Yasir Hameed has not been considered for selection due to illness.

 

Chairman PCB has accepted the Selection Committee’s recommendation.
