The International Cricket Council (ICC) today confirmed Inzamam-ul-Haq has agreed to play in October's Johnnie Walker Super Series in Australia.

The Pakistan captain's participation in the one-off, six day Test match against world champion team Australia was in doubt following reports he declined to make himself available after he was called up as a replacement for the injured Sachin Tendulkar of India.
However, ICC Chief Executive Malcolm Speed said on Tuesday he had spoken to Shaharyar Khan, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to clarify the situation and after the conversation he was able to confirm the playerÂ’s availability.
Mr Speed said: "Mr Khan told me he had spoken to Inzamam and explained there had been a genuine misunderstanding within the PCB over the playerÂ’s availability and selection for the Johnnie Walker Super Series.
"Mr Khan has assured me Inzamam is not only available for the Test match but he is very much looking forward to it and is excited and honoured to be part of the squad."
The Test match will take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground from 14 to 19 October and will form part of the Johnnie Walker Super Series that also includes three one-day internationals at Telstra Dome in Melbourne on 5, 7 and 9 October.
The ICC squads for the series are as follows: Test - Graeme Smith (capt), Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Brian Lara, Jacques Kallis, Andrew Flintoff, Shaun Pollock, Mark Boucher, Steve Harmison, Shoaib Akhtar, Muttiah Muralitharan, Daniel Vettori.
