Media Release - 27 September 2005

Chairman PCB invited captain Inzamam-ul-Haq on 26th September to his residence and explained the background of the genuine misunderstanding in the telephone conversation between Dave Richardson, General Manager ICC and Salim Altaf, Director, Cricket Operations, regarding Inzamam's selection for the Super Series squads.
Chairman advised Inzamam-ul-Haq that in the interest of Pakistan Cricket he should participate in the Super Series in Australia. Inzamam responded positively to the Chairman's advice and agreed to play in the Test Match at Sydney. Inzamam is now looking forward to participating in the Sydney Test between Australia and the World XI.
