Burnley's James Anderson has been awarded a knighthood for his services to cricket in former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's resignation honours list.
Anderson, who made his Lancashire League debut for Burnley in 1997, retired from Test Cricket in 2024 after taking an England record 704 wickets.
