Lowerhouse have signed former Rishton professional Daniel Salpietro after the deal with Satyajeet Bachhav fell through.

The Australian off spinning all rounder had two seasons at Blackburn Road in 2012 and 2013.
In 2012 Salpietro stole the show with the outstanding individual performance on the final day of the season, taking all ten Rawtenstall wickets at a cost of just 34 runs.
In doing so the Australian joined a select band of bowlers who have performed the feat and he became only the second player after Nelson's Anton Ferreira in 1988, to achieve All Ten in limited overs cricket.
Salpietro's 74 wickets, included the aforementioned all ten and four five wicket hauls.
He also hit 765 runs at 42.5 with one century and five half centuries leading the side to ninth place.
These performances earned Salpietro a second season at the club in 2013.
In 2013, Salpietro topped the league batting averages, hitting 1172 runs at 68.94 with three centuries and six half centuries. He also picked up 62 wickets at 19.0.
After leaving Rishton Salpietro starred for Norden, where he won back to back Central Lancashire League titles including a league and cup double in 2014.
Daniel will be travelling to the UK with his wife and young family and they can't wait to get involved in club life.
The club would like to place on record their thanks to Gary Hunt at Cric Intro for his work in getting this over the line in such a short space of time.LATEST SCORES
