Walsden have signed Sri Lankan all rounder Sachin Jayawardena as professional for 2023.
Right handed batsman Jayawardena has scored 1109 runs at 27.1 with three centuries since making his First-class debut in 2014.
He has also picked up 14 wickets at 24.8 with his slow left arm orthodox bowling.
The 28 year-old has played for Haverigg in the Cumbria League for the last two seasons.
