Accrington professional Ockert Erasmus has decided not to return to the club for a fourth season next year.

 

Erasmus is in his third season at Accrington following three seasons with East Lancs.

 

Following two outstanding seasons with the bat in 2014 and 2015, Erasmus has found runs harder to come by this season, averaging 27.4 in scoring 465 runs with two half centuries. He currently averages exactly 50.0 in scoring 2500 runs for Accrington in league matches.

 

It's a similar story with Erasmus' bowling with 37 wickets at 16.5, but this includes a season's best by any bowler of 8-21 against Bacup.

 

In total Erasmus has 177 wickets at 16.1 in league matches for Accrington.
