Lowerhouse Hope For Klein
by Nigel Stockley

Player:D Klein

DateLine: 28th July 2016

Lowerhouse hope that professional Dieter Klein will still be available for most of their remaining matches following his signing by Leicestershire until the end of the 2017 season after impressing on his debut for the county against Lancashire on Tuesday.

Lowerhouse MD Matt Stansfield said: "Dieter's move to Leicestershire all happened very quickly after initial contact on Monday evening. As a club we would never stand in the way of a professional should a County come calling.

Dieter is a great lad and has been a model professional in his time with us, he is very well liked around the club. We wish him well in this new venture.

I am particularly thankful that after discussions with Leicestershire chief exec Wasim Khan and head coach Andrew McDonald, it seems likely that Dieter will be able to fulfil his commitments to us between now and the end of the season.

Hopefully Dieter can assist Leicestershire as they seek a County Championship promotion and Lowerhouse as we look to close the gap on Ramsbottom at the top of the league."
