Rishton have re-signed their professional Shaun von Berg for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The leg spinning all rounder has been in great form since joining the club this season.

 

To date he has scored 523 runs at 65.4 with an unbeaten century and three half centuries and taken 40 wickets at 10.1 with five five wicket hauls to date in a rain affected campaign, leading Rishton to a much improved seventh place in the table.

 

Von Berg has also been instrumental in helping Rishton get the the semi finals of the 2020 competition, hitting 308 runs at 77.0 and taking 7 wickets at 16.9.
