Mumbai, July 13 : Pakistani pace-bowler Mohammad Asif, who is now in Norway will be watching on TV the first Test against England commencing on Thursday at Lord's.

Speaking over his mobile on Wednesday morning, he said, "I will surely watch the Test match on TV here. Yes, the memories of our last Test played there in 2010 will surface in our minds but we have to move on now...".
Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif were suspended for their involvement in spot-fixing at the same venue in 2010.
"Aamer should now focus only on this Test without pressure and concentrate to grab maximum England wickets", Asif says.
"Which human being has not made a mistake, we have accepted out guilt and also been penalized", he says.
"I wish good luck to Aamer and hope he performs well at Lord's".
Asif will return to Pakistan after a few days. He has been eyeing the domestic season in September before his team plays against Australia and New Zealand.
In the meantime, the team manager Intikhab Alam has claimed that Aamer is mentally strong.
"Whoever performs good on each day will be available to media after the play and we will not hesitate to put Aamer before the media", Intikhab Alam, speaking exclusively from London, said.
So far, Aamer has not been projected before the media.
The PCB has also hired a specialist (Jonathan Collett) to deal with the British media.
