Colne have signed South African top order batsman Yaseen Vallie as professional for the 2016 season.
 
Yaseen has a strong first class record with the bat and also bowls slow right arm spin. He comes with a glowing reference and has an excellent attitude and work ethic which will help the current side to develop further both on and off the field. 
Vallie will be Colnes ninth South African professional, and takes over from fellow countryman Thomas Kaber. 
Yaseen has featured regularly at Franchise level with the Cape Cobras and most recently with the Warriors. He has a batting average of 41.16 in 102 first-class innings since making his debut over five years ago, clocking up 3,705 runs, including nine centuries and eighteen half centuries. 
He is currently featuring in the South African domestic 20/20 competition, The Ram Slam, where his team mates include former Bacup professional Jon-Jon Smuts.LATEST SCORES
