Enfield have confirmed the signing of Jean Symes as professional for season 2016.
The 28 year old Symes is a left handed batsman who also bowls slow left arm orthodox spin.
Currently playing for Highveld Lions, Jean has represented Scotland and more locally been the paid man at Norden.
Jean will be following in the footsteps of a long line of high class South Africans to ply their trade at Dill Hall Lane.
