Shanan Stewart is not returning to Ramsbottom next season.

Ramsbottom's Cricket Chairman, Andy Dalby said, "Shanan has been brilliant this year. I would like to thank him for his honesty, as he could easily have signed a contract and then pulled out in January/February time. When initial discussions took place about next year, Shanan was up front and honest with us, telling us that he couldn't commit.
"With having such a young family, he felt it only right that he told us this. Shanan would like to return to Ramsbottom in the future and I would like to go on record by saying that the door is always open to Shanan and his family for a return to Acre Bottom."
Stewart had a fine season helping Ramsbottom to win the Worsley Cup, 20/20 Competition and the Ron Singleton Colne Trophy. The New Zealander hit 937 runs at 46.8 with eight half centuries and a mammoth 150 at Rawtenstall. He also picked up 22 wickets at 18.8. In league and cup matches Stewart hit 1187 runs at 51.6 with twelve half centuries and one century.LATEST SCORES
