Rawtenstall have lost the services of their professional Naved Arif.

 

Skipper Vinny Hanson explained: "Unfortunately we are looking for a new professional. Nav has informed us that he has signed for Sussex pending ECB clearance. That in itself could take weeks so we have decided to go our separate ways. Nav goes with our backing and blessing and for sure our loss is Sussex gain. I'm sure all at Rawtenstall join me in wishing Nav the very best of luck. For us it's back to the drawing board, a situation we didn't anticipate being in at this stage."
