Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi, who announced his retirement from Tests after the first Test defeat to Australia, will return home soon and would join the team later for the ODI and T20 series against England.
 
The Pakistan cricket board said Afridi would not play the second Test against Australia because of an injury. 
"Afridi will join the team later on for the one-day and T20 series against England," Pakistan manager, Yawar Saeed said from London. 
Butt is the fourth Test captain for Pakistan since early 2009 after Shoaib Malik, Younus Khan, Muhammad Yousuf and Shahid Afridi.LATEST SCORES
