Yorkshire skipper Andrew Gale has being appointed as the skipper of the England Lions side when they play England, Pakistan A and the United Arab Emirates in the UAE in February.

 

The squad includes England-capped players Ian Bell, Steven Davies, Adil Rashid, and Sajid Mahmood and Performance Squad Members Michael Carberry, Steven Finn, Gale, Davies, Mahmood, Rashid and James Tredwell.

 

The Lions will play three Twenty20 matches against Pakistan A, also playing T20 games against England and the UAE and they will also play three 50-over matches against Pakistan A.

 

Michael Lumb, James Taylor, Craig Kieswetter and Peter Trego are rewarded for excellent form in last year's county season with selection.
