England Cricket Board has recruited Graham Gooch in the coaching staff of the England cricket team on a temporary basis to help the team in preparing for Test series against South Africa.
 
Hugh Morris, the managing director of England Cricket Borad said, "Graham is rightly regarded as one of the best batting coaches in international cricket and we are delighted to have secured his services for a key period of our preparations leading up to the first Test. 
The former England captain will get a chance to work again with his old student Alastair Cook who left one day squad because of a back injury and remained in Pretoria. 
England travel to East London to prepare for the Tests with two two-day games against a South African Invitational XI after the one-day series, that will finish next Friday in Durban.LATEST SCORES
