Durham fast bowler Graham Onions replaced injured all-rounder Andrew Flintoff in England's Champions Trophy squad.

 

Onions replaces Flintoff in the 15-man party for the tournament in South Africa. The Durham pacer will also provide bowling cover for the remainder of the NatWest Series against Australia.

 

He is joining the one-day squad in Southampton tomorrow ahead of the third match of seven.

 

Flintoff has incurred a deep vein thrombosis in his right calf following knee surgery.
