A solo effort from Heino Kuhn aided South Africa's winning ways in the tournament, pulling off a last-ball win against New Zealand Emerging Players at the Albury Oval.
The right-hander's quickfire century at the top of the innings ensured South Africa were in the game fopr most part of it.
Choosing to bat first after winning the toss, Kiwi skipper Peter Fulton led the way hitting a free flowing fifty. A second-wicket partnership of 71 between Fulton and Colin de Grandhomme laid the platform for a big score, before Dean Elgar struck two quick blows.
At one stage it looked the Black Caps would not reach the 250 mark but a thunderous 40 off 19 balls from Anaru Kitchen's pushed the side past the 250-mark.
Chasing the total, Kuhn batted undeterred and unstirred even though wickets fell around him. The wicketkeeper batsman displayed confident strokeplay and powered his way to a hundred. His knock was studded with 10 fours and two sixes as South Africa registered another victory.
This South African win opens up the tournament for both Australia and India who are on six points with three wins each and a game to play. In the final league games, Australia face off against South Africa while India play New Zealand. South Africa, who have recorded seven wins out of seven, have already qualified for the finals.
