Hosts Canada and the United States reached the global qualifiers of the ICC Americas Under-19 tournament.

With the weather playing truant, only one match, between the USA and Cayman Islands, was completed. The US won by 161 runs.
The USA won the toss and elected to bat they got a good start again from the top order and romped to an impressive 226/8 in their 35 overs.
S.Vashishat (63) and H.Wardley (44) lead the way. Cayman Islands in reply were all out for 65 in 28 overs. Y. Shah was the USA outstanding bowler taking 3/ 12 from seven overs bowled.
Bermuda started the day with a glimmer of hope of reaching the qualifier. They needed to defeat Canada and have Cayman pull off the upset of the tournament.
Neither happened and it must be disappointing for a team that has always been among the best at this age level not to qualify for the World Cup.
Bermuda won the toss and elected to field. Player of the tournament Hiral Patel scored 95 as Canada reached 170/7 in rain-shortened 35-overs match.
When the rains came in the 25th over Bermuda had replied with 111/4 with the captain Terryn Fray on 45 not out. What would have been an interesting finish ended in a loss for Bermuda by a mere five runs.LATEST SCORES
