A phenomenal talent, Ojha has been a real thorn in the flesh of the batsman in the IPL second edition. He has made a fool out of numerous batsmen getting them stumped using his flight. In fact his first three wickets in this edition of IPL where all stumpings where he gave the ball air and then the batsman and the wicketkeeper did the rest. It was the IPL season one which gave this 22-year-old his ticket to the Indian team. He has been quite good in the limited chance that he has got to play for India and now with him being the only second specialist spinner in the team apart from Harbhajan Singh, it would be interesting to see how he performs and cements his place in the side. Ojha did not have a very good ICC T20 World Cup. He was especially taken for a good number of runs in India’s match against West Indies where Dwayne Bravo got the better of him. A tour of West Indies thus would give the left-hander a good chance for redemption.
