DateLine: 5th June 2009
Papua New Guinea Under-19 were looking good to claim the East Asia-Pacific Under-19 Championship 2009, sitting pretty with six points with three wins out of three matches.

However, there is stiff battle for the second slot, as Fiji and Vanuatu are both on four points apiece, though Fiji are currently second on run-rate. Both teams have won two matches and lost one each.
Indonesia have one win to their credit out of four games while Japan are at the bottom of the table, having lost all three games.
Vanuatu have a great opportunity of overtaking Fiji when they take on Japan on Friday, while the Fijian have the daunting task of upstaging PNG.
The final is slated for Saturday, June 6.LATEST SCORES
