DateLine: 26th May 2009
Ben Hilfenhaus has the ability to swing the ball away at represented Australia for the first time in a one-day international on his home ground at Hobart, taking only 12 balls to get his maiden wicket when he trapped Brendon McCullum. Though he has the ability to generate good speed he relies more on accuracy and can also trouble the best batsmen in the business with some disconcerting bounce off good length. In the return series against South Africa though he did not take wickets bucketful he was one of the factors which helped Ponting to win the series and also stay at the top of the Test table for time being.
