Pascal's pace impressed national selectors and that alongside his ability to bowl with a tight leash brought him in the squad. He plays for the windward islands in the Caribbean doestic circuit and a good second first-class season got him noticed. He was the man of the moment in his debut match for Windwards, where he brought the Barbados top order down with a brilliant 4 for 70. He then spent the 2008 summer playing league cricket in Durham.
