| Player: | JB Evans |
'Ginger' Evans was a hostile fast bowler who formed an effective opening bowling partnership with Jeff Jones in the early 1960`s . However, their pairing was all too brief as Evans was plagued with injury and forced into retirement in 1964. He subsequently took up a position as a professional with a club in Grimsby, and played Minor County cricket for Lincolnshire between 1965 and 1971.

Evans had made his Glamorgan debut in 1958, playing against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge, and his career-best performance came at the Arms Park in 1961 when he returned figures of 8/42 against Somerset.
