Player: | JM Jones |
Jimmy Jones kept wicket initially for Somerset, playing in 7 matches in 1922 and 1923, before joining Gowerton and qualifying for Glamorgan.

He made his Glamorgan debut in 1928 and proved a capable man behind the stumps, as well as a forceful left-handed batsman, scoring 75 against Essex at Leyton.
Jones lost his place in the Glamorgan side to Trevor Every in 1929, but he continued to keep wicket with aplomb and finesse for Neath and Briton Ferry. Jones then took up a coaching appointment at Denstone School, before becoming a publican in Staffordshire.
