Claude Warner was a stockbroker in Llanelli and a leading member of the Carmarthenshire town`s cricket club either side of the Great War.

 

The right-handed batsman and seam bowler played for Carmarthenshire, and in 1923 the 41 year old was drafted into Glamorgan`s side that played Nottinghamshire at Swansea. It proved to be his only first-class appearance for the Welsh county.
