David Reason was a talented right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who was a stalwart of the Neath club in the 1920`s.

 

He made his debut in Glamorgan`s Minor County match against Surrey2nd XI at The Oval in 1920. His business commitments prevented him from playing regularly for the Welsh county when they entered the Championship in 1921, but he played once in both 1921 and 1922.

 

Reason later served on the Glamorgan committee.
