Arthur O`Bree was another amateur with a military background who played for Glamorgan in the early 1920`s.

 

Colonel O`Bree made his debut in 1920 against Monmouthshire at Ebbw Vale after colonial service in India. Later that summer, the free-scoring right-hander struck his first century for the county, making 116 against Monmouthshire at Briton Ferry.

 

He subsequently played in 18 first-class matches for Glamorgan between 1921 and 1923.
