Neil Perry joined Glamorgan in 1979 after a trial with Surrey the previous year.

 

The left-arm spinner made his first-class debut against the Sri Lankan tourist team at Swansea in 1979, but he failed to command a regular place in the 1st XI and was released at the end of the 1981 season.
