| Player: | RJ Parkhouse |
Richard Parkhouse played twice for Glamorgan in 1939, but the right-handed batsman failed to score in his only Championship innings, against Hampshire at Southampton.

He had a successful record in club cricket for Clydach and Llanelli during the 1930`s before taking up a teaching appointment in Egypt. The schoolmaster subsequently appeared for All Egypt against H.M.Martineau`s XI in 1939, and he subsequently returned to the U.k. after World War Two and coached in Scotland.
