COLLINS, Christopher.

Born at Cobham, Kent, 14th October 1859.
Died at Gravesend, Kent, 11th August 1919.
His club cricket was played at Rochester and he turned out for Kent eight times between 1881 and 1885. His brother George also played for Kent thirteen times 1874-82 and his son George Christopher played in 212 matches for the county 1911-20.
At the time of the 1881 Census he was living with his parents at Owletts, Cobham, Kent. His father Benjamin, aged 60, was working as a gardener, as was Christopher, aged 21. His mother Jane, aged 59, was born at Cuxton, Kent, as was his father.
