A profile of Austin Codrington
by Dave Liverman

Player:A Codrington

Austin Codrington made his debut with the Canadian national team in 2000. He bowls fast-medium with an open-chested action, and is a useful, hard hitting lower order bat, capable of contributing important runs. He is also a fine all round fielder, capable of taking some superb catches. He had a moderate ICC Trophy, struggling at time with line and length, but has shown a steady improvement, performing well in the Six Nations Challenge in Namibia, and in the 2001/02 Red Stripe Bowl. He plays for Overseas CC in the Toronto and District League. In Canada's opening match of the 2003 World Cup, he bowled his side to victory with a superb 5/27 against Bangladesh.
