This match was interrupted by rain on the first afternoon and on the second day but proved a most interesting tussle. South who lost six wickets getting to the century mark almost doubled this thanks to sound batting by S.Ciaburri who made 40 in good style batting at number ten. In reply the North had made 83 for five wickets when Douglas Ker surprisingly declared 100 behind. The South increased their lead to 241 thanks to good batting by Amar Sinha and Mike Ryan. Left with 242 to win in three hours it was rather to much to force a win but Brian Roberts with 61 including 4 x 4's and 2 x 6's livened proceedings up. Herman Pereyra had a good match making 24 and taking 4 wickets.
