Notes
--> Bowling in the South first innings adds 1 run under
--> Bowling in the North first innings adds 13 runs under
--> North second innings batting adds 12 runs under
--> Wickets given to bowlers do not agree with batting scorecard for the North second innings

A very powerful South XI had little difficulty in overcoming it's Northern counterpart by 187 runs, in splendid mid-summer weather. On a fine wicket the South amassed 401 during the first day's play. Captain Ferguson led off with 72 which paved the way for excellent centuries from R.McCrea Steele and Raphael Villamil. Peter Stocks also showed fine form. The Northern attack was fairly innocuous. The North were then dismissed for a paltry 176 runs, Stocks and Villamil shining with the ball. South then notched 114 for 5 wickets, Chris Nino batting well for 64 not out and then ousted their opponents for 152 runs. This time Ferguson and Campbell did the damage.
